MDF is swiftly becoming one of the most popular materials for skirting boards due to its practicality and relatively low price.
It is a man-made material created by mixing fibres from real wood sources with glues and resins. It is then heated up and pressed to produce what you see as MDF.
Pressing MDF in this way gives it a hard and almost completely flat surface. This is ideal for painting, making it a versatile product for use in people’s homes.
Any profile/moulding in our extensive range can be applied to MDF skirting as its properties make it easy to cut and shape. View our full range here.
