Oak, what kind of wood is it?
Oak is a species of tree found in the Northern hemisphere and its timber is commonly used in all types of construction, including skirting boards. Oak skirting boards are often chosen to match existing Oak furniture, as this in itself is a huge industry. As a hardwood, Oak is naturally incredibly sturdy and has longevity as a product, requiring very little maintenance other than the occasional clean.
